The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Updating the Susenas census block in March 2023

The Susenas March activities in 2023 have started to be implemented. One of the stages before the data collection stage for sample households is updating households.

Updating households is used as the basis for sampling. The update schedule itself starts from 18-27 February 2023. This update aims to provide an overview of the number of households in one census block. Updating was carried out door to door to inquire about the whereabouts of the household (was it found, moved into or out of the Census Block, changed household head if joined with another household, not found and new household).

Apart from asking about the whereabouts of the household, they also asked about the education of the head of the family and the whereabouts of the toddler.
