Expenditure Balance Annual Special Survey Training for 2023

There are important indicators to determine the economic condition of a region in a certain period, one of which is the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). This GRDP is the gross added value or production factor compensation generated in an area arising from various economic activities in a certain period. GRDP is obtained by several approaches, one of which is the expenditure approach. The calculation of GRDP according to this expenditure will illustrate how the use of goods and services produced by various groups in society.

In its calculation, expenditure GRDP consists of components of household consumption expenditure, consumption expenditure of non-profit private institutions, government consumption expenditure, gross fixed capital formation, net exports (exports minus imports), and stock changes. The data required is not small, in fact some of them are not available in the BPS subject matter so that it requires another special survey to support the provision of data. In this regard, the BPS of Empat Lawang Regency is holding a "2023 Expenditure Balance Annual Special Survey Training". The survey in question includes Annual SKLNP, Quarterly SKLNP, and updating LNP, SKPS, SKSIP, and SKSPPI. These surveys are very important to collect data in the preparation of Expenditure GRDP.

The training was held for three days, from 26-28 June 2023. As a regional instructor (inda), the trainer for the training was Mr. Asep Aliwardani, SST., M.Sc. who is also the Coordinator of the Function of Regional Accounts and Statistical Analysis of BPS Empat Lawang Regency. The training was carried out offline at the Cemerlang Hotel, Tebing Tinggi, Empat Lawang Regency and was attended by 7 participants who were enumerators and field supervisors.
