The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Seruti TW-II Data Collection

Seruti, the Quarterly Household Economic Survey is a survey that aims to obtain household economic statistics in the form of values and patterns of income, consumption expenditure, and non-consumption, investment, and household financial transactions.

The Seruti is a survey conducted every quarter. Seruti TW-I has been implemented in March 2023 integrated with the National Social and Economic Survey (Susenas). Then, Seruti TW-II will be held in June-July 2023.

The Seruti TW-II data collection in Empat Lawang Regency has a sample of 12 census blocks (120 households) with the allocation of each officer working on 3 census blocks.

BPS Empat Lawang Regency continues to strive to maintain the quality of Seruti data by conducting field supervision during the enumeration of household samples. The supervisor accompanies and evaluates the performance of the enumer, so that errors that may occur can be avoided as early as possible.

For people who are selected samples of Seruti TW-II activities in 2023, they are expected to receive the arrival of officers and provide the right answer.
