The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Field data collection from Monthly Palm Oil Plantation Company Survey to PT. ELAP AND PT. KKST

On January 17 2024, the BPS-Statistics Indonesia of Empat Lawang Regency has started implementing the Plantation Company Survey (SKB) where in Empat Lawang Regency itself there are only Palm Oil Plantation Companies.

One of the companies recorded is PT. ELAP and PT. KKST which is located in Pendopo Empat Lawang District. The aim of the monthly SKB for palm oil is to collect plantation company data covering area, production and supporting data related to oil palm plantations on a monthly basis.
