Internalization Meeting of Desa Cantik Program in South Sumatra for the Year 2024

On January 23, 2024, the Central Bureau of Statistics (Badan Pusat Statistik or BPS) of Empat Lawang Regency participated in the internalization meeting for the "Desa Cantik" program organized by the South Sumatra Provincial BPS online. Desa Cantik is a program aimed at enhancing the competence of village officials in the management and utilization of data to ensure more targeted development planning. The goal of the Desa Cantik program is to improve the capacity of villages/sub-districts in identifying data needs and the potential of the village to support poverty alleviation.

During the internalization meeting, the mechanism of the Desa Cantik program for the year 2024 was presented. It is hoped that the Desa Cantik Team of BPS Kab. Empat Lawang can have an achievement at the national level this year.
