Implementation of Hotel Room Occupancy Survey (VHTS) for March 2024

From March 1st to March 5th, 2024, BPS-Statistics of Empat Lawang Regency conducted the implementation of the Hotel Room Occupancy Survey (VHTS) for March 2024. This survey aims to meet the needs of tourists and the community in the development of accommodation businesses such as hotel room occupancy rates, the number of guests staying, average length of guest stays, nights of rooms used, and bed usage rates.

For the first time, BPS has changed its monthly hotel counting method from Paper and Pencil Interviewing (PAPI) to Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) using the FASIH application. It is hoped that the use of FASIH will facilitate future counting efforts.
