On Monday (18/3/2024), the Implementation Team and Assessment Team from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) throughout South Sumatra Province took part in an evaluation training evaluation of the implementation of sectoral statistics phase 2 in 2024. In improving the quality of sectoral statistics, the Implementation Team and Assessment Team BPS Empat Lawang Regency, represented by Teresia Naomi Anastasia, S.Tr.Stat., Wisnu Adi Kusuma, S.Tr.Stat., Zullyana Cempaka Shelnovta Zulkarnain, S.Tr.Stat., and Alya Safadella Putri Akca, S. Tr.Stat., participated in this training. This activity was facilitated by the BPS Education and Training Center and held online via the Warkop Learning Management System (LMS) web platform.

This overview training regarding Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) stage 2 was held as preparation for the Internal Assessment Team (TPI) before starting the independent assessment, which is the initial stage in the EPSS process. This aims to enable them to understand the 38 indicators in EPSS and provide relevant evidence to produce a Statistical Development Index that is in accordance with sectoral statistical developments. The assessment process in EPSS involves the TPI formed by each agency as well as the TPB from BPS. The EPSS assessment stages include self-assessment, document assessment, interviews, and overall assessment.
