The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

On April 3 2024 BPS Empat Lawang Regency took part in the Zoom Meeting for the Socialization of the Implementation of the 2024 Integrity Zone Development. In this activity, notes on the evaluation of the Integrity Zone were presented, including: a. guided by Permenpan No. 90 of 2023, b. complete all supporting data, c. ZI's three development targets are improving integrity, service and performance, d. monitoring and evaluating innovation, e. acceleration of development of sectoral statistics and e. TPI actively facilitates ZI development development. Then for the 2024 ZI BPS development strategy, namely a. pay close attention to the 2024 WBK/WBBM proposal scheme, b. strengthen the role of provincial BPS in developing and conducting evaluations, c. work units that receive the WBK/WBBM predicate continue to carry out reforms in ZI development and become catalysts in the development of ZI for other work units and e.
