Implementation of Wholesale Trade Price Survey (SHPB) for April 2024

From the 1st to 5th of April, 2024, BPS-Statistics of Empat Lawang Regency conducted the implementation of the Wholesale Trade Price Survey (SHPB) for April 2024. The SHPB enumeration is carried out routinely every month. This survey aims to obtain reliable and timely wholesale price data, understand the changes in wholesale prices over time, and provide data for the compilation of the Wholesale Trade Price Index (IHPB) and its changes (inflation/deflation). The IHPB can depict the magnitude of price changes at the wholesale trade level of commodities traded in a region. Thus, the government can monitor price developments to maintain economic stability through the SHPB.
