The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

On Monday (29/4/2024) training for potential Village Potential Officers (Podes) 2024 was held at the Famvida Hotel, Lubuklinggau City. This training is a continuation of online training which lasted for 2 days on Wednesday and Thursday. The training was opened by Mr. Windy Prabowo Setyawan as Head of BPS Empat Lawang Regency. There were 30 training participants divided into 2 training classes with 2 regional instructors teaching.
Village Potential Data Collection aims to produce data for regional development needs, providing data on regional potential, availability of infrastructure/facilities, as well as a description of socio-economic conditions in each village/kelurahan, sub-district to district/city
PODES data collection will be carried out from 2 to 31 May 2024 in all administrative areas at village/kelurahan, sub-district and district/city levels in Indonesia.
