The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Enumeration for the Financial Institution Survey - Savings and Loan Cooperatives (SLK-KSP) 2024

On May 20th, 2024, the BPS-Statistics of Empat Lawang Regency conducted the counting for the Financial Institution Survey - Savings and Loan Cooperatives (SLK-KSP) for 2024. The purpose of SLK-KSP 2024 is to collect indicators and financial reports from cooperatives that operate savings and loan businesses. The sample used includes cooperatives that are licensed by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs; have legal cooperative status; and operate savings and loan businesses (KSP, KSPPS, USP, and USPPS). The counting for SLK-KSP 2024 will continue until August.
