The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Briefing for the 2024 Accommodation Services Business/Company Survey (VHTL)

On June 10th, 2024, BPS-Statistics of Empat Lawang Regency conducted a briefing for the 2024 Accommodation Services Business/Company Survey (VHTL). The VHTL survey aims to obtain specific characteristics (profiles) of accommodation business activities/companies, an overview of the labor characteristics within these businesses, the structure of income and expenses/expenditures, and the additions and reductions of capital goods. Additionally, it aims to gather data on raw materials used by accommodation businesses and information on the number of guests, as well as the correlation between capital ownership and the environment.
