The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Tuesday, June 25 2024, the BPS Empat Lawang Regency Agency Assessment Team (TPB) conducted an interview with the Regional Government of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in the context of an online interview assessment via Zoom. This interview assessment is one of the activities in the 2024 Sectoral Statistics Development Evaluation (EPSS) series. TPB BPS Empat Lawang Regency consisting of Wisnu Adi Kusuma, S.Tr.Stat., Zullyana Cempaka Shelnovta Zulkarnain, S.Tr.Stat., and Alya Safadella Putri Akca, S.Tr.Stat. conducted an interview with the Internal Assessment Team (TPI) of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency which consisted of the Health Service and the Population and Civil Registration Service. With this activity, it is hoped that Ogan Komering Ulu Regency can obtain optimal 2024 Statistical Development Index (IPS) scores.
