The economy of South Sumatra based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices for the third quarter of 2024 reached IDR 171.65 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 it reached IDR 97.41 trillion.

On Wednesday 26 June 2024, all BPS employees of Empat Lawang Regency attended the routine monthly meeting chaired directly by Mr. Lasdiarso as head. In the meeting, all activities are discussed directly by the team leader, starting from monitoring and evaluating work to discussing the steps that must be taken to complete the work.
