The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

On 15-16 July 2024, a Reconciliation and Preparation of Financial Reports for the Period 30 June 2024 was carried out via a zoom meeting led by the Provincial BPS. This activity is carried out to minimize the occurrence of errors after closing the book and to follow up on any discrepancies and existing to do lists. This activity also carries out the process of preparing financial reports with appropriate explanations and supported by appropriate supporting evidence. Apart from that, evidence was also collected to support source documents for monitoring the review of Semester I Financial Reports from the Inspectorate.
