The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

2024 SEP Data Improvement Mechanism

On Wednesday 24 July 2024, SEP Processing Officers took part in the zoom meeting of the 2024 SEP Data Improvement Mechanism which was implemented by BPS South Sumatra Province. This activity discusses the follow-up to findings from checking SEP anomaly data which can be carried out by correcting the data through checking documents, confirming with officers or other activities that can support the data cleaning process. Improvements to the SEP anomaly data will be carried out on 15 July - 31 August 2024 and can also be revisited in the field if necessary.
