The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

2024 Annual VIMK Listing

BPS is currently carrying out IMK24-Annual Survey activities. In general, the IMK24-Annual Survey aims to determine the IMK profile in Indonesia which can be used as material for macro economic development planning.
The registration of IMK buildings and businesses/companies (listing) which is currently being carried out using the CAPI method using the Fasih Mobile application is a preliminary activity for VIMK24-Annual. The listing will be carried out on 1 - 26 July 2024 with the aim of obtaining a complete and up-to-date list of businesses/companies in each census block/census sub-block.
