The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Monitoring and Evaluation of KTIP Statistics Activities for the First and Second Quarters of 2024

On August 5th, 2024, BPS-Statistics of Empat Lawang Regency participated in the monitoring and evaluation activities for Financial, Technology, Information, and Tourism Statistics (KTIP) for the First and Second Quarters of 2024, organized by BPS of South Sumatra Province via Zoom Meeting. This monitoring session discussed the progress and challenges faced during the implementation of KTIP activities. It is hoped that this monitoring and evaluation will assist all BPS offices in the districts and cities of South Sumatra in completing all KTIP activities for 2024.
