The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Sakernas data collection August 2024

The enumeration of selected sample households in the August 2024 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) began on August 8 2024. All officers have carried out a census in their respective areas of duty. This Sakernas field data collection activity will last until August 31 2024.
Apart from field data collection, monitoring and supervision from BPS Empat Lawang Regency has also been carried out. This aims to monitor the progress of officers in the field and ensure that officers have carried out the census according to the concepts and data collection mechanisms that were presented during the training.
