The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Thursday, 19 September 2024, BPS Empat Lawang Regency took part in Webinar Series 2 with the title Creative Process from the BPS Video Content Kitchen which was held by BPS Central Java Province as a series of commemorations of National Statistics Day (HSN) 2024. The webinar was opened by the Head of BPS Central Java Province , Endang Tri Wahyuningsih and moderated by Dwi Agus Whayu Riyadi alias Gusmelon from the Central Java Province BPS Public Relations and Protocol Team.
Wahyu Ashari from the Public Relations and Legal Bureau of BPS was the resource person for this webinar discussing the behind-the-scenes process in making interesting videos.
