The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Internalization of the FY 2026 Masterplan Application

On October 15 2024, the Head of General Subdivision of BPS Empat Lawang Regency took part in a zoom meeting on the Internalization of the 2026 Fiscal Year Masterplan Application. This activity discussed the Satker Infrastructure Requirement Standards (SKSS) which explained that the SKSS proposal was determined from the results of SIMAN asset data processing based on the Requirement Standards that had been established. A Planning Team was created, then a priority request was made to the Provincial BPS to determine the 5-year SKSS Infrastructure Roadmap.
