The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Socialization of PER-13/PB/2024 concerning Steps in Facing the End of the 2024 Fiscal Year

On Thursday, 17 October 2024, BPS Empat Lawang Regency also attended a socialization regarding PER-13/PB/2024, which contains steps to face the end of the 2024 Fiscal Year at KPPN Lahat. This regulation is designed to ensure smooth implementation of the budget, optimize budget use, and prevent obstacles in the disbursement of funds at the end of the year by the Work Unit. Work Units are encouraged to speed up budget absorption, especially for ongoing activities, to avoid budget build-up at the end of the year which can cause delays. Through this socialization, KPPN hopes that each work unit can carry out its duties effectively and efficiently in approaching the end of the 2024 Fiscal Year. Compliance with these regulations is very important to maintain fiscal stability and support the achievement of national development targets.
