Implementation of Wholesale Trade Price Survey (SHPB) for November 2024

From the 1st to 5th of November, 2024, BPS-Statistics of Empat Lawang Regency conducted the implementation of the Hotel Room Occupancy Survey (VHTS) for October 2024. This survey aims to fulfill the needs of tourists and the community in the development of accommodation businesses such as hotel room occupancy rates, number of guests staying, average length of stay, room nights occupied, and bed usage rates. VHTS is a routine survey conducted every month with respondents being both starred and non-starred hotels. For starred hotels, a census is conducted, meaning all hotels are surveyed or visited by census enumerators. Meanwhile, non-starred hotels are surveyed. Sampling of non-starred hotels is conducted by the Provincial BPS.
