2024 E-Commerce Survey Data Collection

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Empat Lawang Regency has carried out data collection on the 2024 E-Commerce Survey activities from 21 October to 8 November 2024. The aim of this E-Commerce data collection activity is to update the sample frame of E-Commerce businesses/companies in sample selected areas; providing basic indicators related to E-Commerce (number of businesses, types of goods and services sold, transaction value, payment methods, and delivery methods that refer to international standard concepts and other indicators; as well as supporting the preparation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), by presents the value of E-Commerce transactions in the Digital Era.

After previously listing was carried out to obtain a list of all buildings and businesses/companies located within the territorial boundaries of a census block, 60 samples were selected spread across the Empat Lawang Regency area. Data collection for the 2024 E-Commerce Survey was carried out through direct interviews using Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing - Flexible Authentic Survey Instrument Harmony (CAPI-FASIH).

It is hoped that the data obtained from the data collection will provide an important role in understanding the growth of the digital economy in Empat Lawang Regency.
