Socialization of 2024 PMSE Data Submission

BPS Empat Lawang Regency took part in socialization regarding Submission of Trade Data and Information through Electronic Systems (PMSE) with the theme "Digital Transactions to Strengthen the Foundations of Transformation Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045" online via zoom on December 10 2024. This event aims to evaluate PMSE activities during 2024 and improving PMSE data reporting.

This activity presented speakers from BPS, Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Ministry of Trade, and Ministry of Communications and Digital. As of January 2024, 61 of the 136 PMSE organizers have reported their data to BPS. Business models that are required to submit data include marketplaces, e-retail, ride hailing, social commerce, and others. The data collected includes company identity, workforce, income, expenses, as well as the value and number of transactions.

BPS RI emphasized the important role of data to support official statistics and SDGs, while the Ministry of Trade will oversee compliance with data submission. This socialization is expected to provide benefits for business actors for business and government strategies in planning PMSE sector policies.
