The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Coordination of 2024 IPM Evaluation and 2025 EPSS Preparation

Tuesday, January 14 2025, BPS Empat Lawang Regency attended a Coordination Meeting in the Regional Secretary Room of Empat Lawang Regency which discussed the 2024 Human Development Index (HDI) and 2024 Statistical Development Index (IPS) as well as Preparation for the 2025 EPSS. This activity was also attended by the Regional Secretary, Bappeda, Diskominfo, Health Service and several other OPDs.
The Coordination Meeting was opened by Yulius Sugiantara, SE., M.Si., as Regional Secretary, then continued by Ir. Lasdiarso, M.M., then a presentation on IPM 2024 by Wisnu Adi Kusuma, S.Tr.Stat., and IPS 2024 scores and preparation for EPSS 2025 by Zullyana Cempaka Shelnovta Zulkarnain, S.Tr.Stat. This activity also opened discussions regarding the 2024 IPM, as well as preparations for the 2025 EPSS. After holding a Coordination Meeting, BPS Empat Lawang Regency held an audience with Acting. Empat Lawang Regent, Fauzan Khoiri, AP., MM. to report the results of the meeting.
This activity aims to increase the HDI and IPS of Empat Lawang Regency from the previous year.
