The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Meeting to discuss the 2025 IPD and JRS Team Activity Plans

On January 23 2025, the BPS Empat Lawang Regency Statistical Data Processing Integration Team (IPDS) took part in the 2025 IPD and JRS Team Activity Plan Discussion Meeting which was held online. This meeting discussed various important agendas, especially preparations for the Update of Statistical Working Areas (Wilkerstat) for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), including the timeline, training mechanisms, implementation of activities, and the required budget. Apart from that, at this meeting several innovations that were being developed by the IPD and JRS BPS Team of South Sumatra Province were also presented, such as the SIEMAS application, LLM-based KBLI and KBJI classification applications, as well as the Bumi Sriwijaya Village website. Through this meeting, it is hoped that preparations for Wilkerstat SE2026 can run smoothly and the innovations developed can further improve the efficiency and quality of statistical data management in the South Sumatra region.
