In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

BPS Empat Lawang Regency took part in the ESSENTIAL activity: Technical Instructions for Sectoral Statistics Development which was held by BPS RI on Thursday, February 6 2025, online via Zoom. This event was opened with remarks by Dwi Retno Wilujeng Wahyu Utami, S.Si., M.Si., as Director of Statistical Dissemination at BPS RI. Next, Triana Rachmaningsih, SST., S.Sc., SE., M.Si. delivered material regarding Technical Instructions for Development of Sectoral Statistics, which includes Main Performance Indicators (IKU) for Development of Sectoral Statistics, technical instructions for implementation, as well as methods for calculating the level of implementation of sectoral statistics guidance according to standards. This session closed with discussion and interactive questions and answers to deepen participants' understanding.
