The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Refreshing Virtual Statistics Corner 2025

On March 13 2025, BPS Empat Lawang Regency took part in the Virtual Statistics Corner Refreshing (PSV) online via the YouTube channel. The activity opened with directions and remarks from the Head of the Performance Management Team, Agus Setiawan, who represented the Director of Statistical Dissemination. Followed by the delivery of material by Argo Nurcahyo, SST. In his delivery, he explained the Follow-up Plan for the Virtual Statistics Corner (PSV), which includes completing the Campus/Position Profile and Statistics Agent Profile as well as more detailed Statistics Corner activities according to actual conditions. Apart from that, a new feature was also introduced, namely the Statistical Work Program Plan which will be implemented this year.
