The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Processing, Mining, Energy and Construction Industry Survey Training (IPEK) 2025

On Friday (14/3), 2025 IPEK Survey training was held in the BPS meeting room of Empat Lawang Regency. The training was opened directly by the Head of BPS Empat Lawang Regency, Ir. Lasdiarso, M.M, who on this occasion gave directions to prospective officers to work with full responsibility and trust, as well as information regarding the challenges faced by survey officers with a sample of businesses/companies.

This training for prospective participants was attended by 2 Indians and 9 officers. It is hoped that with this training, IPEK 2025 Survey officers will become more mature in carrying out the census
