The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Auction of Official Two-Wheeled Vehicles by BPS Empat Lawang Regency

On March 17th, 2025, BPS-Statistics of Empat Lawang Regency conducted an auction for official two-wheeled vehicles through the Indonesian Auction Portal (https://lelang.go.id/). The event was attended by Mr. Muhammad Akib, S.H., First Expert Auctioneer from KPKNL Lahat, Mr. Ade Yoska, S.E., Junior Expert Auctioneer from KPKNL Lahat, as well as the BPS Empat Lawang Auction Committee, which included Mr. Novi Irawan, S.Si., MM, Ms. Nina Tennia Rahma, A.Md., Mr. M. Aflah Hidayatullah, S.Tr.Stat., and Ms. Fitri Azzaima.

Based on the auction results, a total of 12 (twelve) official two-wheeled vehicles from BPS Empat Lawang were successfully sold through an open bidding process via the Indonesian Auction Portal. The winners of each vehicle auction are required to make their payments no later than March 24th, 2025.
