The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Abstract

Palembang City in November 2018, Calendar year inflation (cumulative until November 2018) is 1.81 percent. Inflation is "year on year" (November 2018 to November 2017) of 2.43 percent. Commodities contributing to the biggest inflation contribution in Palembang City include: rice, shallots, house rent, air transportation, electricity and mobile credit rates.

·         The Lubuk Linggau City in November 2018, the calendar year inflation (cumulative until November 2018) is 2.07 percent. "Year on year" inflation (November 2018 to November 2017) of 2.81 percent. Commodities contributing to the largest inflation share in Lubuk Linggau City include: shallots, mobile phone credit rates, and garlic.

·         South Sumatra Province in November 2018, Inflation in calendar year (cumulative until November 2018) is 1.83 percent. Inflation is "year on year" (November 2018 to November 2017) of 2.47 percent.

·         Indonesia in November 2018, based on monitoring prices during November 2018 at 82 Cities CPI, indicating that 70 CPI cities experienced inflation. While 12 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Merauke City at 2.05 percent, the lowest in Balikpapan City, at 0.01 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Medan City at -0.64 percent, the lowest in Pematang Siantar City and Pangkal Pinang City, at -0.01 percent
