The number of aircraft departures in August 2019 was 1,581 flights

The number of airplane visits at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport that arrived in August 2019 by 1,581 flights decreased by 7.05 percent compared with July 2019.

The number of aircraft passengers arriving at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in August 2019 was 176,716 people, consisting of 161,523 domestic flight passengers or 91.40 percent and 15,193 international flight passengers or 8.60 percent. This number decreased by 0.58 percent compared to July 2019 and also decreased by 17.08 percent when compared to August 2018.

The number of ship visits in August 2019 were 585 ship visits, consisting of 506 ship visits from within the country and 79 ship visits from abroad. The number of ship visits has increased by 78.89 percent, compared to July 2019 which was 327 visits.

The number of goods unloaded in August 2019 was 154,259 tons, an increase of 7.96 percent compared to the number of goods which were unloaded in July 2019.
