The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Abstract

  • During April 2022 there were no foreign tourists visiting Sumatra Selatan through the entrance to Palembang's Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin (SMB) II Airport.
  • The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels in April 2022 was 42.31 percent, a decrease of 12.46 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 54.77 percent. On the other hand, when compared to the same period in 2021, the TPK in April 2022 also decreased by 2.10 points. Meanwhile, the TPK for non-star hotels for April 2022 was recorded at 17.30 percent.
  • The highest ROR for star hotels in April 2022 was for 5-star hotels, which was 47.09 percent and the lowest was for 1-star hotels, which was 24.35 percent.
  • The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in April 2022 reached 1.37 days, a decrease of 0.05 points compared to March 2022 which was recorded at 1.42 days.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in April 2022 is higher than the average length of stay of Indonesian guests.
