The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Abstract

The number of passenger departures using air transportation in October 2022 was 95,924 people, up 10.34 percent, and the number of arriving passengers was 96,388 people, up 11.80 percent.
The number of passenger departures using domestic sea transportation modes in October 2022 was 1,340 people, down 4.69 percent, and the number of arriving passengers was 1,464 people, down 1.74 percent. Sea freight loading and unloading activity in October 2022 rose 9.49 percent to 392,853 tons.
The number of passengers using the rail transportation mode in October 2022 was 64,269 people, an increase of 11.04 percent. During the period January - October 2022 the number of passengers increased by 288.94 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
