The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

The ROR for star and non-star hotels in Sumatera Selatan Province in November was 60.32 and 19.67 percent, respectively.

Abstract

In November 2022, no foreign tourists (tourists) visited Sumatera Selatan through the Palembang Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin (SMB) II Airport entrance.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in November 2022 was 60.32 percent, an increase of 3.70 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 56.62 percent. Meanwhile, the TPK for non-star hotels for November 2022 was recorded at 19.67 percent.
The highest ROR for star hotels in November 2022 occurred in 5-star hotels, namely 74.38 percent and the lowest in 1-star hotels, namely 41.39 percent.
The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in November 2022 reached 1.42 days, a decrease of 0.04 points compared to October 2022 which was recorded at 1.46 days.
