Abstract

  • Sumatera Selatan's NTP in August 2023 fell 1.32 percent compared to last month's NTP, namely from 105.62 to 104.23.
  • The decrease in August 2023 NTP was affected by a decrease in the Horticulture sub-sector by 0.33 percent, Plantation 2.06 percent, Livestock 1.37 percent, Fishery 0.42 percent, Capture Fishery 0.34 percent and Aquaculture 0.54 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP which experienced an increase was in the Food Crops subsector by 1.24 percent.
  • In August 2023, Sumatera Selatan Province experienced rural deflation of 0.34 percent, namely from 118.30 to 117.90.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Sumatera Selatan Province in August 2023 was 103.50, down 1.56 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
