The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Abstract

Sumatera Selatan Province’s FTT in July 2024 increased by 1.45 percent compared with FTT in previous month, namely from 122.40 to 124.18.
The increase in FTT in July 2024 is influenced by the increase in FTT in several subsectors, where each rose: Food Crops 2.52 percent; Plantation 1.47 percent; Fisheries 0.23 percent and Aquaculture 0.91 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP that experienced a decline were the sub-sectors: Horticulture by 4.12 percent; Livestock 1.48 percent and Capture Fisheries 0.20 percent.
In July 2024, the price Index of Household Consumption for South Sumatra Province experienced an decrease of 0.77 percent, namely from 124,67 to 123.71.
Agriculture’s Terms of Trade (NTUP) for South Sumatra Province July 2024 amounted to 126.20 or an increase of 0.48 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
