The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Abstract

  • South Sumatra's NTP in November 2024 increased by 1.30 percent compared to last month's NTP, namely from 127.20 to 128.84.
  • The increase in NTP in November 2024 was influenced by the increase in NTP in two subsectors, each of which increased: Plantations by 1.93 percent and livestock by 0.63 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP that experienced a decline were the subsectors: Food Crops by 0.85 percent, Horticulture 2.94 percent, Fisheries 0.12 percent, Capture Fisheries 0.03 percent and Aquaculture 0.29 percent.
  • In November 2024, the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) for South Sumatra Province experienced an increase of 0.64 percent, namely from 122.48 to 123.26.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for South Sumatra Province in November 2024 was 130.28 or an increase of 1.77 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
