The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Development of the SAKIP Team of the Provincial BPS Work Unit

In order to increase the capacity of the BPS Work Unit SAKIP Team, BPS RI invites all Provincial and Regency/City BPS to take part in SAKIP Team Development through zoom meetings, including BPS Empat Lawang Regency. After the event was held, Mr. Windy Prabowo Setyawan, S.Si., M.A., appealed to the Empat Lawang Regency BPS SAKIP Team to maintain and even improve last year's SAKIP achievements. Remembering that BPS Empat Lawang succeeded in achieving the highest District/City BPS SAKIP score in all of Indonesia in 2023. In 2023, BPS succeeded in achieving a SAKIP score of 77.45. Then this year, the SAKIP target to be achieved is 77.50.
