Internalization of Activity Recommendations, Metadata and Data Standards in 2024

On April 25-26 2024, BPS RI internalized Recommendations for Statistical Activities, Statistical Metadata and Statistical Data Standards. To support the acceleration of fulfilling the One Data Indonesia (SDI) principles, it is necessary to carry out monitoring and evaluation to improve the quality related to the collection of Statistical Metadata and submission of Data Standards, as well as the socialization of new mechanisms in the ROMANTIK application.
Several topics were discussed in this activity, namely, monitoring the collection of statistical metadata for activities, variables and indicators; adjustment of the statistical activity recommendation mechanism; use of data standards as a reference for conducting statistics; and improvements to metadata and statistical data standards. With this internalization, regional BPS is expected to be able to offer superior services to local governments in producing sectoral statistics.
