May 8, 2024 | Other Activities

On Wednesday, May 8 2024, BPS employees of Empat Lawang Regency took part in the Initial Evaluation and Progress Assessment of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) for 2024 online via YouTube broadcast. The activity was opened by remarks from the Main Secretary of BPS, Atqo Mardiyanto. BPS is committed to providing sectoral statistical guidance to ministries/institutions (K/L). One part of this commitment is this evaluation. Every central and local government agency can use EPSS to measure how well they carry out statistical activities. Additionally, in 2024, the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform will carry out an evaluation of General Bureaucratic Reform using the results of EPSS, namely the Statistical Development Index.
According to Agency Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the EPSS assessment is carried out in three stages: independent assessment by the Internal Assessment Team (TPI), document assessment, interview assessment, and/or visitation assessment by the Agency Assessment Team (TPB). This initial evaluation is an effort by BPS to help K/Ls consistently. This ensures that the first stage of the assessment can be completed quickly.
