The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

On Monday, June 3 2024, employees of the Empat Lawang Regency Central Statistics Agency took part in the socialization of the results of the Regency Leadership Meeting (Rapimkab) online via a zoom meeting organized by BPS South Sumatra Province.
This activity was carried out in order to convey the results and follow-up from the Rapimkab and convey the work program that must be achieved. On this occasion, Mr. Wahyu Dwi Yulianto as head of BPS for South Sumatra Province also said that he should always provide correct and quality data.
