The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Training for Candidates for MSBP Susenas Data Collection Officers 2024

Training for SUSENAS MSBP and SERUTI Officer Candidates for Quarter III 2024 was held at the Smart Hotel, Lubuklinggau City on Tuesday-Friday, 3-6 September 2024. The training was opened by the Head of General Subdivision of BPS Empat Lawang Regency, Mr. Novi Irawan, S.Si., MM. In his speech, he advised officers to focus on following training because training is very important to equalize the concepts and definitions of SUSENAS MSBP and SERUTI Quarter III 2024. Apart from that, he also advised that all officers will be responsible for carrying out field enumeration tasks, and for officers who carry out Moral hazards will be given strict sanctions, and officers are also expected to be able to complete their tasks well and on time.
