The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Briefing on the Use of the Siemas Application in the 2024 Susenas MSBP Data Collection

On Thursday, September 19 2024, a briefing was held on the use of the Siemas application in SUSENAS MSBP and SERUTI field data collection for the third quarter of 2024 in the BPS Meeting Room, Empat Lawang Regency. This briefing was attended by all officers, both PPL and PML from their respective places of duty, which was carried out offline and online via Google Meeting. The aim of carrying out this briefing is for officers to comply with the 2-1-2 enumeration scheme, the first day 2 households are enumerated, the second day is for rest and editing the coding of the enumeration results, the third day continues to enumerate 2 households, and so on.
