The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

BPS Empat Lawang Regency has held the 2024 Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey (VIMK) Training on October 7 2024 in the BPS meeting room of Empat Lawang Regency
Head of BPS Empat Lawang Regency, Ir. Lasdiarso, was present at the opening of the training to deliver directions as well as open the training directly.
The Quarterly IMK Survey aims to obtain quarterly production growth figures for the processing industry. With this training, it is hoped that officers will be able to collect quality IMK data.
