The rice harvest area in 2024 will reach 521.09 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.95 thousand hectares or 3.36 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 504.14 thousand hectares.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

96th Mother's Day Commemoration Ceremony at the Regional Government Square

In commemoration of Mother's Day on December 22 2024, the Empat Lawang Regency Regional Government held a 96th Mother's Day Commemoration Ceremony at the Regional Government Office. This ceremony was attended by the Acting Regent, Mr. Fauzan Khoiri Denin who also invited all OPD/Lembabga/other agency officials in Empat Lawang Regency accompanied by Women's Women's Association (DWP) in Empat Lawang Regency.
On this occasion, Mr. Ir. Lasdiarso, M.M was also accompanied by the Chairperson of the DWP BPS Empat Lawang Regency, Mrs. Galuh Widiastuti to take part in the entire series of events starting from the Ceremony, Prize Distribution, and closing with the Cooking Competition.
With this anniversary, hopefully we will always remember our mother's never-ending struggle and love.
