The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

In January 2025 it rose 6.13 percent to 354,889 tons.The number of passengers using the train transportation mode in January 2025 was 91,023 people or a decrease of 4.95 percent.

Abstract

  • The number of air transport passengers departing in February 2024 was 109,812 people, increased by 1.35 percent while the number of arriving passenger was 107,458 people, decreased by 4.71 percent.
    • The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in February 2024 was recorded at 888 people, decreasing by 32.57 percent compared to January 2024. The number of domestic sea transport passengers arriving in February 2024 was recorded at 871 people, decreasing by 29.07 percent compared to January 2024. The freight transported by domestic sea transport decreased by 16.55 percent or 265,538 in February 2024.
    • The number of railway passengers departing in February 2024 was 79,900 people, which decreased by 4.15 percent. The number of passengers in January until February 2024  increased by 20.17 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
