The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for South Sumatra Province in February 2025 was 0.41 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 0.77 percent.

Abstract

FTT is the ratio of the index of prices received by farmers (It) and the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib). FTT is an indicator to measure the farmers’ purchasing power parity in rural areas. FTT shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumption and production costs.
Sumatera Selatan Province’s FTT was 116.28 or increased by 0.94 percent compared with FTT in March 2024. The increase in FTT was due to the significant increase in FTT of plantation at 3.15 percent, Meanwhile, The FTT for food crops, horticulture, livestock, fishery, marine capture fishery and aquaculture decreased at 6.35 percent, 5.60 percent, 0.36 percent, 0.66 percent, 0.53 percent and 0.85 percent.
The price index of household consumption rose 0.64 percent, from 124.06 in March 2024 to 124.86 in April 2024.
Agriculture’s Terms of Trade (NTUP) was 119.82 in April 2024 or increased by 1.50 percent compared to March 2024
