Monday (20/02) BPS South Sumatra Province held Training for 2023 PMTB Disaggregation Enumeration Officers for South Sumatra Province at the Beston Hotel on 20-24 February 2023.

In line with the 2023 Government Work Plan (RKP), namely "Increasing Productivity for Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation", 1st National Priority "Strengthening Economic Resilience for Quality and Equitable Growth", physical investment data or Gross Fixed Capital Formation is required ( PMTB) broken down by type of fixed assets, business sector, and institutional sector. To meet this need, BPS carries out activities to prepare PMTB disaggregation.

Implementation of PMTB disaggregation preparation activities is also based on:

1. Gaps Initiative (DGI) Data Recommendations G20 DGI recommends the preparation of PMTB (physical investment) according to the type of fixed assets and the institutional sector (economic actors), including the accumulation of physical investment.

2. Target Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) SDGs encourage inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Goal 8. PMTB has an important role as the key to economic recovery.

3. The need for planning and policy making PMTB disaggregation by type of fixed assets, business field, and institutional sector, is used as a basis for determining investment needs and how far the government needs to intervene to prevent crowding out.

4. The need for national balance statistics The need for an investment database in the national balance sheet for the preparation of capital stock and consumption of fixed assets.

It is hoped that through this training, officers can equate and strengthen the concept of the definition of PMTB disaggregation so that we can achieve a developed Indonesia.
